The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) recently released a report showing that in the first quarter of 2024, global trade trends improved, with goods trade increasing by about 1% month on month and services trade increasing by about 1.5% month on month. The global trade growth in the first quarter was driven by positive trade dynamics in the United States and developing countries, especially in Asia.
